Job Summary

Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a Senior Medical Technologist to join its Blood Bank team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Under minimal supervision, the Senior Medical Technologist assists the laboratory manager, supervisor, or coordinator in overseeing and directing workflow while maintaining budgetary goals. The position establishes work priorities, organizes and assigns work, and supports quality patient care outcomes.

The successful candidate will perform complex routine and non-routine laboratory testing procedures and regularly verify the validity and accuracy of test results.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal four-year program.

Experience

• Required: Two years of related experience.

Licensure

• Required: Florida Medical Technologist license.
