Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited or otherwise qualifying nursing program.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in accordance with applicable state requirements.

• One year of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting is preferred. One year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is also preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.

• Computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred.

• Strong critical-thinking, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when required.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Current RN license meeting applicable state requirements.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of the start date.

• Additional state licenses, specialty certifications, or training as required by the work area.
