Overview
BJC HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Imaging Services team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, one of Missouri's leading academic medical centers affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine.
This full-time position offers a compressed work schedule, competitive pay, a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, and the opportunity to work with advanced CT imaging technology in a nationally recognized healthcare institution.
Position Highlights
- Full-time day shift
- Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–9:00 PM (3×13-hour shifts)
- No on-call duties
- USD $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates
- Additional 5% pay differential for CT certification
- Relocation assistance available for eligible applicants
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
- Prepare patients and imaging equipment before examinations.
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while following established imaging protocols.
- Produce accurate diagnostic images for radiologists and physicians.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures.
- Perform portable examinations and support other imaging locations when required.
- Participate in quality assurance and equipment quality control activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have:
- Associate degree, trade school qualification, or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT certification.
- Eligibility to work as a certified CT/Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Radiologic Technology
- X-Ray Imaging
- Diagnostic Medical Imaging
- ARRT-certified Radiography
- Advanced Imaging Modalities
Previous experience is preferred but new graduates meeting certification requirements are also encouraged to apply.
